Nikole

(Nik-She/Her) Nikole became passionate about all things birth during her first pregnancy in 2018 when she hired her own labor doula. She was inspired by the genuine and unbiased support she received and just knew that she wanted to extend that to other families as well.

Her first birth was a hospital birth in Austin, Texas. Shortly after her son was born she moved back to Fayetteville to be closer to family. Her second pregnancy began in 2020 and resulted in a planned home-birth in 2021.

Nik was about 5 months postpartum when she decided it was time to get trained and certified. She completed her labor doula training through Pro-Doula and her breastfeeding peer counseling course through WIC. Nik plans to expand her knowledge by becoming an infant feeding specialist, postpartum doula and completing a Child Passenger Safety Technician course.

Nik is currently working part-time at a children’s museum where she gets to host learning activities with young kids, help maintain a large garden, and tend to chickens. In her free time she is either off on a new adventure with her littles or volunteering her time at a local nonprofit called Seth’s Wish.
